Why is Bush so hot to get involved in Africa?

Could it be that his crazy evangelical Christian
beliefs are driving him. It is in Africa where
previously Christianized populations (converted
by colonialist missionaries in past years) are 
now shrinking in numbers and geography before the 
dynamic of contemporary Islamic proselytizing.

Which is also the case in the black ghettos of
America where Islam is growing fast at the 
expense of Christian allegiance.

Perhaps the need to resist Islam is an issue in 
Evangelical circles.
