ggit somthing or other

Colleagues,
     Back on the 13th of this month I received a
message from the "moderator" inviting me to join the
"ggit".  Now what the hell is that?  There was
something about gathering historical information about
the ghetto yadda yadda yadda.  Did anyone else receive
this message?  What does it all mean?  I get very
paranoid when anyone mentions "gathering information",
especially these days.  You know the old saying, "Just
because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out
to get you".
     Notice, they're going after Bill and Emily Harris
again.
