Connie-- what a nice email! Here is some info on French Press:
Le Figaro and Le Monde are the big two for France; I think both have on-line 
editions. When I'm there I sometimes read the European Herald Tribune--at 
least it's in English. There is another, more progressive French paper, 
"Liberation," that I've also read.  Their web server is www.liberation.com. 
Agence France Presse  is a good (but rather middle of the road) on-line 
source in English (http://www.afp.com/english/home/) ."
