Silly me, the Home Ec. major. I should have majored in Journalism. The only
field trip I got to go on was to Dallas, where we toured the fashion
industry from mass produced to couture houses where they sew on beads and
pearls by hand for fabulous ball gowns special ordered for the debutantes in
major cities. The touring group was all girl, and we didn't get to stay
over, as Philbert or anyone else.
It is good to know that you are alive and well. Do you remember Carol
Gustine, or Charmayne Marsch? They were my housemates at Felicia Co-op. Kay
Northcutt lives here again after being gone for a while. I recently saw her
at the Book Fair 2001 and called her Cornelia by mistake. She musta thought
that I was on the way to Alzheimers.
