Segway, Last Colonial War, rebellious youth

Segway seems like a niche device for the lazy or feeble or unusual
applications on level ground but not something that will fit between
driving and walking because bikes are already good at that. They
appear to be more awkward to stash/haul than bikes at the end of
the trip, which is their key problem.

Humans in general need to walk about 1/2 hour per day or get the
equivalent amount of mild excercise to maintain good health. Cars are
killers mainly because they replace this walking and replace time that
could be used for excercise under natural conditions in addition to the
50,000 that they kill outright.
