She should be happy that her "bellybutton ring" was not ripped out by some
overzealous, $5.47/hr airport security worker.

On the other hand, speaking from an older generation dedicated to
non-body-piercing except for medical purposes, that would have been ok by
me.  Isn't that shallow of me?   Steel-toed shoes, I can really relate to.
What is her day-job, auto body repair?

My across-the-street neighbor flew to Chicago for Thanksgiving --- was
bitchin' and moanin' because her bellybutton ring and steel toed shoes set
off the metal detector.

I think that's funny ... a sure sign of advancing age.
