[Wonderful Labs] A strange thing happened...

	Hey gang -

I know there hasn't been much by way of Wonder of late, but it
certainly not *all* my fault. I'm stepping out from behind the curtain
right now, though, because odd things have been happening with the
original Wonderfullabs Pairlist mailing list
http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/wonderfullabs Okay, odd-er.

First off, the archives have mysteriously stopped archiving. There's
nothing after November 2004 (which is about when I got this new
computer, but that shouldn't have done anything). Second, I used to
have all unauthorized mailings to the list deferred to me. I would get
a notification that someone wanted to post (usually spam) and then I'd
log in later and delete it all. As of this week, I'd say, I'm getting
"auto-discard" notices, which basically say that someone tried to send
something to the list, and we deleted it for you. And so, Third, I went
to log in to see what my settings were set to, and found that my
Administrative password no longer works. Mister Wonderful is locked
out of the Labs.

Anyone have any clues? Part of the problem is that I have no direct
relationship with Pairlist. A Wonderful Reader donated the mailing
list to me some years back (she got it as part of her webhosting
package and was never going to use it), so I wouldn't even know who to
contact (as that reader has, I believe, gone off the list - I'd check,
but I can't log in to the Administrative account...)

Yours in a funny old world,

Mark Anthony Masterson
