Dear Mister Wonderful,

I don't know how 'big a listener' you are of Tom Waits but here goes:

Have you heard Tom Waits' new CD? And if so, what do you think?
Compared to his other offerings, that is. And, depending on how much
of Mr. Waits you listen to, what is your favorite
cd/album/cassette/8-track?

Hope you return to pimping wisdom soon,
Mr. Siegal

Dear Frank's Wild Ears,

Hey, let's get right to your amazing and smoky musical query. As
they say, "Tom Waits for no man."

I have *not* heard this new disc from the gravel-voiced ivory-tickler
from Pomona, but I'm sure it's a corker. That boy could sing the
panties off a mourning nun. Like I say, I don't know about the latest
release because my schedule has been packed with things like, oh,
preserving the reality you call "real" from time-traveling Chinese
marshmallow pirates. No, don't bother to get up. It's all over now.

As should be obvious, Mister Wonderful has a tremendous weakness for
the "Rain Dogs" album. http://www.geocities.com/misterdark23/wait.html
There's just a ton of chunky goodness there. But listen, pal - I may
have gained weight while battling the Cream Bun Throwers of the Amazon,
but there's no call for that "big listener" crack. I was busy saving
your ass from an unspeakably sticky menace which you don't have
clearance to discuss, so don't bother to tell me these pants are
unflattering -- just thank me.
