Dear Mister Wonderful,

Having imperiled both my marriage and my sanity for the last year by
venturing into uncharted psychological hell (teaching), I return to you
with a newfound curiosity and a new attitude. Armed with DVD's and
Hunter S. Thompson's books (which I keep as a checklist of stuff I need
to do to return to sanity) I return to you, Mister W, as I ever was,
your ever-willing UNPAID correspondent, doing real world research and
reporting to you with common queries.

For those familiar with my style, I must return slowly, so only two
broad questions

	1. (From the Mrs. - Delilah Wondering) How much Wonderful is too much
Wonderful? What are the signs that one has had too much Wonderful?

	2. Having touched on your literate love of Comics before, I turn now
to prose. What Authors have you consistently enjoyed reading?

Just Wondering
"How much for the little girl?"
- John Belushi, _The Blues Brothers_
_______________
Dear JW,

At first I thought you were claiming that *I* had imperiled your wedded
bliss and brain state, when of course everyone knows your wife started it.

	Speaking of:

	1) Indeed. Furthermore, how much Wonder could a Wonderful win, if a
Wonderful had won Wonder? One winter I wandered in a wind, wondering if
one could want more Wonder when folks are wont to whinge.

My point is that, like the Apocalypse, too much Wonderful is closer
than you think. And the signs are roughly the same. APE LAW!

	2) Naming names of those who rarely disappoint, I'd put you on the path to:

	Jonathan Lethem
	David Foster Wallace
	Terry Pratchett
	Ian Rankin
	Tim Powers
	Jeff Noon
	P.G. Wodehouse
	Gregory McDonald
	Donald Westlake
	Robert Anton Wilson
	Grant Morrison
	Lemony Snicket
	Alan Moore
	Hakim Bey
	Dashiell Hammett
	Tom Robbins
	Tom Stoppard

The usual suspects. Or basically, y'know, anyone else I've quoted over
the past seven years...

Mister Wonderful enjoys reading authors with big brains and little
shame. With a few minor letter changes, that also describes the women I
enjoy. A-hem.
