Dear Wunderkind,

In most big business deals there's usually a kickback to the buyer in
some way or another... what do you think Thomas Jefferson got out of the
deal with Napoleon in the Louisiana Purchase?

Sincerely,
Jeb Bush

Dear Moulin Ruse,

What did Jefferson get from Napoleon to sweeten the deal? French ticklers.

Seriously. There were about a dozen of them, half named Josephine, all
of them expert ticklers, not one of them paler than a Turkish teacup.
Jefferson giggled and giggled, through night after dusky night.

history of [infinity]" A book wherein Zeno's Paradices are referred to
as "nutcrunching."
