Dear Speck Filter,

	First off, Nigel grabs the big skull thing from the stage show and
drives the horns through Dirk's bass, into his abdomen... Oh wait.  Not
that kind of battle.  Sorry.

	To be fair, the Rutles are a parody, while Spinal Tap is a satire. 
Satire beats parody, unless you have an ace, and it's a Thursday, in
which case one more bleen card means a Royal Fizzbin.

	Musically, however, you have to admit that using the Beatles as a
source trumps using Black Sabbath.  Well, maybe not.  It depends on how
much tequila's left in this bottle, really.

	No!  Seriously, don't you think a movie where the Rutles and Spinal Tap
*team up* to find the lost treasure of the Monkees while Josie and the
Pussycats provide romantic interest and N.W.H. backs them up as a sort
of urban "Hawk/Shaft" silent partner would be much more boffo?  I do.
