Dear Mister Wonderful,

It is common knowledge that vampires don't have reflections in mirrors.
Does this mean that she/he will usually have a little smudge of blood
on the chin or the tip of the nose, that he/she doesn't know is there?
More importantly, do the sensors on self-flushing toilets detect them?
That could get really frustrating if they didn't, huh.

Dear Veronica the Impaler,

In Mister Wonderful's experience, one of the finest things in the world
is when you tell a joke to a vampire just at the right moment, and blood
comes squirting out his nose. Hi-larious.

Vampires *do* block light, and have no trouble at all using
sensor-activated toilets and sinks. Which, I know, doesn't explain why
they smell so bad; you go to a club these days and it's like a sewer
main exploded in a lace factory.

I once met a Tibetan candle wicker who claimed that vampires don't show
up in mirrors because mirrors are backed with silver, and silver
destroys everything about the nosferatu, even their reflection. I
said, yeah, okay, but then their makeup would still show, and they never
get that on right. I mean, they put this pale foundation on and it
never goes far enough down the neckline, so you get these ragged,
smeared edges that make them, y'know, totally *dunce macabre*.
