Dearest Readers,
GREETINGS FROM FLASHY POTRZEBIE!
I want to go home.
Your lovable Mister Wonderful has been without his faithful computer,
FANTASEX, for over a month now -- resulting in exile from the
Laboratories, undue influence from the local ne'er-do-wells, tramping
without a map, conversations with a simian, and, finally, unrelieved
pleasure and astonishment on the island nation of Potrzebie, that
magical place of happiness and stimulation where all the rhymes are
tight and the puns are groan fresh.
I've got, like, ecstasy out the wazoo. Enough! Enough, I say. Let
me muck into those lengthy queries about birds and break-ups I left
behind! Alas.
But, interestingly enough, I did today receive a visit from a
Potrzebian entertainer who works in the Velvet Casino: Environ the
Mentalist. He said that, during a show last week, an audience member
had thrown a pair of panties on the stage - addressed to me! Well,
either me or Calvin Klein.
Anyway, since there was a query inked in Sharpie along the buttock
cups, good ol' Environ thought he'd err on the side of Wonder...
>Dear Mister Wonderful,
>How come they have a light in the fridge when you
>open the door, but not in the freezer? Or have I
>always just had low-tech freezers? Is it to discourage
>late-night ice cream raids? Do light bulbs not work
>well in the cold? I bet it would look neat to have
>frost all over the bulb though, like something from
>the Snow Queen fairy tale, a story I never liked very
>much, and which probably had nothing to do with
>lightbulbs anyway. Oh well.
>Thanks for your help.
>Ben-n-Jerry-less.

Dear Nice Dreams,
Freezers are obviously too cold for the little man to come out and turn
on the light. You want illumination for your popsicles, you go and hire
a goddamn Eskimo already.
yours with much love and longing,
MW
