Dearest Readers,

	GREETINGS FROM TRIGRAMMATIC POTRZEBIE!

Many people, they ask me, they say, "Mister Wonderful, you are so
charming and funny and successful, you bring delight to so many children
of the world, and surely your name will echo in the halls of wisdom for
centuries. Why is it that you hang around with such terrible people as
Mister Dark and Mister Malice?"

And I reply to them, my reply is: "Yes, officer, I know. I'm awfully
sorry about the mess."

And they say, "My god, man. Look at the blood!"

The truth is, Mister Malice and Mister Dark have been my companions for
so very long that I can't really recall how it is that we first came to
be together. Then again, I've got so much renegade lizard toxin running
through my system right now that I couldn't tell you whether or not I
put clothes on this morning. I mean, not even by checking right now.
My neurosystem is currently bypassed like the Millennium Falcon
hyperdrive in a combat situation.

It's like this: Dark and Malice made their fortune as purveyors of the
eldritch and uncomfortable to the mystical and puissant. They've got
one of *those* shops, you know, the kind that show up where there used
to be dank alleys, sell the doomed hero a monkey paw or a mogwai, then
can't be found once the screaming starts. Mister Dark genuinely
despises most everything that moves, and Mister Malice has no capacity
for caring about anyone or anything; Hatred and Indifference combining
to create a powerful capitalist marketing tool.

I think I probably signed up for a credit card with them and they wound
up moving in to teach me a lesson about financial responsibility. And
ancient Greek torture devices.

If nothing else, having these fine fiduciary terrorists in my corner
has certainly improved my outlook on life. I mean, if you wake up with
Dark and Malice in your house, there's not much worse that can happen to
you all day.

I do hope that clears up some of the confusion.

Yours while still awaiting silicon salvation.

Mister Wonderful Recommends: The skeletons in the typewriter. Ellen
Raskin's "The Westing Game" is a delightfully clever children's mystery
- certainly one of the top 18 thousand things that made me want to be a
professional smart-alec. Marvel at this, ye poltroons: preserved
manuscripts and drafts, along with complete notes and explanations.
Oooh, it is to shimmy and shake.

... The fact of the matter is the world
