Mercedes used to "helpful" with information on their 800 #. Now all
they tell you is "bring the car to a dealer"
They have to make up (in money) for all their bad engineering from
2000-2004 on alternators...1,200,000 recalled and replaced and the
fiber optics on 2000-2005 S bodied cars
MB never tells you now to look for simple solutions, "bring car to
dealer for expensive diagnostic."
1990s are last "good" Mercedes. Actually 1991 with the last of the
126 body and motor
