Apples to apples not apples to starships
The 300 124s are a most reliable machine and reasonable to maintain.
Not too much glitter there.
And as far as comparing it to a 320euro, been there done that and it doesn't
cut the muster unless really tuned.
I must admit sheepshly that I have had mine on I87 to 138mpf for a good run,
but you can't hardlyfind a stretch in NY to do that any longer.

Robin,
The euro E320 will blow the doors off of a US Sportline.

The drive train has minor mods and most of it is trim and suspension.

Take a look at what a 500E is and you will know what steroids can do to a E
class.

And I disagree, Nothing is better than a 500E going down I-80 in Wyoming
when there was no speed limit. The 500E could surpass 155 MPH! maybe your
wife would like a ride? |:-{)= <--- ducking and running
