[W124] AMG E36...

Hi All,

 

I haven't posted on this forum for a while, since my E320 Coupe was
written off in a shunt, a sad day...

 

Anyway, I've finally scrimped and saved enough to get its replacement,
but I'm also very tempted to look for an AMG E36. I think I can afford
it, they're great value right now!

 

My E320 seemed to have a bullet proof engine, can the same be said for
the E36? Does anyone have experience of the two?

 

Is the E36 gonna cost much more to service & run?

 

Is it dynamically much better/different?

 

Any other useful tips / experiences / web links?

 

I can't wait to go shopping, hope to be reporting on a purchase soon...
