[W124] E36 AMG Cabrio soft top problem...

Thanks to the various posts, I don't think I'll get a chance to look at
the car again this week as I'll be travelling but it sounds like I
should be able to at least locate and check the fuse & hydraulic level
now!

One other question, what is the normal operation of the lamp in the roof
open/close switch? It's currently permently red except when I try to
operate it when it starts to flash. If I drive the car I get a couple of
rounds of warning chimes, presumably this confirms that the rear of the
roof is not correctly shut, it doesn't look quite flush.

What's the best workshop guide for one of these, I like to do my own
basic work, or at least be able to check things, although it doesn't
usually take long to find that I need to call in the professionals. I've
heard good things of Stu Ritters bible but I'm not sure if there's a
better source for the AMG?

I'll let you know what I find when I get a chance to look at the car
again.
