Hi Dale,
The fuse should be in a seperate black plastic box a few inches in front of
your main fusebox. It is an aluminium strip fuse so you may not have
recognised it as a fuse.
The hydraulic pump is in the boot(trunk), lright hand side under a metal
panel which will have to be removed (4 Screws). You will firstlyu have to
remove the trim paned but this just pulls out with a little wiggling !! The
fluid level should be checked with the roof lowered if memory serves me
right but you should get an idea even with the roof up. There is also a
relay on top of the pump which should be checked.
The system, I beleive , is very similiar tothat on the R129 SL so you might
look for someone who specialises in these cars with a view to getting the
problem sorted.
I have seen cars advertised with electric drivers seat only so I don't think
this is very unusual.
