There are more and more parts for our coupes. But there is also one problem - it is in polish language. So the best solution in is to write W124 CE in "SZUKAJ" box and then look at picutres. Almost all sellers accept to send goods outside poland. If I find one (I saw it last week but I coulnd't see it now) I'll let you know. rgds, Bartek 1994 220CE Sportline Dnia 28-03-2007 o godz. 19:41 w124list-request at mbcoupes.com napisa?(a): > Send W124list mailing list submissions to > w124list at mbcoupes.com > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/w124list > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > w124list-request at mbcoupes.com > > You can reach the person managing the list at > w124list-owner at mbcoupes.com > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of W124list digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. As for your cruise, I'm willing to wager the cruise amp is starting to act up..it's fairly common. I've seen the wiper motors lose their mind before but never delved in to see what was causing the problem. If you don't my asking, where on LI are you? I know two very good MB specialists on the Island..one in Locust Valley, the other in Mineola. Replace all the fuses you can reach in the fusebox under the hood just in front of the driver. This older fuse type develops slight surface corrosion at the contacts. Just disconnect your battery so you don't have to be too delicate, and replace them all with new ones. 47K miles? I'm drooling. I've got over 219K on my 89. (I replaced my fuses a year or two back.) And Jonathan, you're a bit of a 126 coupe fan I see. ;-) Care to tell us about the 85 300CD? (If the list doesn't mind. It's still an MB coupe.) On my 1987 Mercedes the heat does not come out from the floor but through the defroster outlets on the windshield. The cool air comes out from the dash outlets as it should When the heat is on I can hear a "slight clicking" noise under the glove box as some "door" wants to open but cannot? Is this a sign of a faulty climate control unit in the dash or some cable that is not working? Seems that the CC mechanism needs some "resetting". Might be an "age" thing, but might also be due to a vacuum hose problem around the inlet manifold area - so you might want to check the vacuum hoses there. Over the weekend, I can "paraphrase" the relevant pages from that manual on cruise-control if you like ? Traffic is sporadic, but it's always nice to see a new name. I would recommend you go to the Tirerack.com site and check out the reviews for tires. You select what type of tire you want (summer, all season, etc.) then you can see reviews of what's posted. I have continentals on my 94 cab, and like them because they are QUIET! The front dome light is > burned out - how do I replace the bulb? > > Mike in Oregon Welcome to the group, Mike. There were a total of 825 1994 E320 Coupes imported to the US. No exact figures (to my knowledge) have ever been released by MB concerning specific option sales; they consider that proprietary information. Some have estimated that 5% or 10% of total sales had the Sportline option. But I have it on, what I consider, a very good authority that it was no more than 2 or 3% of the sales. So that would mean that your Sportline Coupe is one of approximately 17 to 25 total deliveries to the USA in 1994. I have been very happy with the 225/50 x 16 Nokian NRZi tires for summer running. I use the same size Nokian WR in the rainy/snowy season. But the fact is, there are so many good tires now adays, that if you get do a search and some research at Tirerack.com, you'll probably find something that will suit your needs. I would suggest that you go with a 16" wheel, maybe 7.0 to 8.0 inches wide, to get the best combination of handling, ride quality and looks, but that's just my preference. For the front dome light assy, slip a clean, preferably plastic, flat knife-like (eg, putty knife blade) into the passenger side edge, between the assy and the overhead cloth, and while pushing the whole assy to the left with your fingers, pry the right edge down with the knife a bit. Don't damage the cloth. It's harder to explain than to do. ;-) Once you get it loose from the ceiling, you'll be able to see how to replace the bulb(s). Don't know if you are interested or exactly where in Oregon you live, but we often get together with some of the SEC coupe members from Portland for day road trips around the area. We don't have anything planned right now but are thinking about a Saturday afternoon ride somewhere with a dinner stop. Even if they're copper, it's probably time to replace them all anyway. This fuse style leaves the metal exposed, whichever metal is used.
