[W124] Tyres on 17"

Thank  you for enligtening me.  I  have a1990 560 SEC  which  is more 
of a"dinosaur,"  to my beneft
I do know of major wiring harness problems on the  S  body cars of 
2000-2003 or 2004
MAJOR job if  the  car needs it.
The wiring is fiber optic which does  not like  like  moisture.
It appears that Mercedes got someone from Lucas to  do the  new wiring  
harness.... said appears but not  really
There  was also  a major recall on the alternators of all  MBs from 
2000-2003
If  the alternator "went,"  it  would  fry some  major components at 
the same time
keep cruisin
