[W124] Sunroof drainage

Hi again Frank,

What I suggest you do is remove the rear seat base and the sound insulation,
then sit inside the car while somebody else pours water over the rear
drivers side window. From previous experience I imagine you may see a slow
drip of water come from inside the side trim and make it's way down into the
recess beneath the seat where the central locking pump is situated. I would
also advise that you lift the carpet on this side and check under the
driver's seat for any water or dampness.
If this is the problem you will have to remove the trim and sort whatever is
causing the water to fall onto the rear of the trim. Im not too sure how
involved this is on the coupe, but beleive me it is not something I would
look foward to doing again on the cab.

Enjoy,

Declan.
