I lurk on the http://www.celicasupra.com forums and there's a good
discussion on Battery Testing and Diagnostics there:
http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=21051&highlight=pop+top
or search the forums for "pop top" and look for the Battery Testing and
Diagnostics thread.
A general recommendation from that discussion is A/C Delco batteries
which I noticed are available at A-Line auto parts throughout Austin.
Since Van's was recently bought out by CarQuest, A-Line is one of the
few local parts places that doesn't sell the typical junk found out the
national chains.
