Hi Frank/Steve.
I think the 230CE probably has the 8-pole diagnostic socket which would have
no capability of pulling fault codes from the N57 module.
The 230CE does use the M102 engine but I beleive was only imported into the
U.S. in saloon form.
Mcercedes Benz U.S. will not send the CDs outside of the U.S. You can
generally pick copies up on E-Bay (U.K.) for a few quid.
By the way did you sort your ABS problem ? It may be worthwhile checking
that both front wheels and tyres are EXACTLY the same size as any slight
difference - even down to two differant tyre manufacturers - can cause the
ABS light to come on at speed. You should also check that there is no
excessive play in the front wheel bearings as this can also cause errant
signals.
Regards,
Dec.
