Would be interesting to see if you can pull those codes on a W124.
His codes are on a V8 powered W140, so the W124 N57 may not have all
of the capability that it does.
I suspect that the codes are read with an ODB from the pins 1, 2 and
21 from the diagnostic plug in the engine compartment.
BTW, I think you can order the MB Service Library CDs direct from MB-
USA (US$40, I think now). Not positive they will ship out of the US
though. Also, note that the CDs only cover MBs that were imported
into USA, although much information is interchangeable. Does the
230CE have the 4-cyl M102 engine?
