Hi all!

I got a 300 CE (24 V) sportline ´92.

I use the original E 55 (AMG) 18 inch rims. Tyres 235/40 (front)  255/35
(back).

It looks great but the size causes some problems when I have people in the
back seat 
or heavy luggage in the trunk. The tyres sometimes touches the wheel arches
and in the long term it will probably damage the inside of that area.
Sometimes it happens
in the front as well (bumpy road etc.)

I don´t think it´s possible to use front tyres large than 225 without
damaging the wheel arches
in some way. Maybe stiffer suspension, springs etc. could help.
