[W124] air conditioning

Bill,
Have   you noticed if the Blower motor is running when you operate at the 
lower speed.
Possibly it is not functioning and the speed is forcing the air thru the 
system?

My 88 CE AC Unit works great on the freeway but if you come to a stop so
does the AC. Is this designed this way or is my AC messed up?
