[W124] W124 Evaporator

Hi,

Has anyone had experience replacing the evaporator on their CE?  Is there a 
way to accomplish this without removing the entire dash?  Any hints would be 
greatly appreciated!  Also, is there a routine culprit to look for when the aux 
fans are not coming on?
