[Sisterhood] REQUESTING YOUR NOMINATION FOR "WOMAN OF VALOR"

Dear Sisterhood Members,
 
As part of the National Women's League for Conservative Judaism, our  
Sisterhood has been invited to submit a nominee to receive "The  Women's League 
Eishet Hayil Award".  Each Sisterhood's  nominee will receive this Woman of Valor 
award in conjunction with the November  12-15 Convention theme of "Praise Her 
for Her Works:  The  Women's League Eishet Hayil Award".
 
The nominee should fulfill these criteria:
    *  She is concerned about others and  performs acts of kindness. (She is 
helpful;
        sympathetic;  gives  tzedakah).
    *  She is a Jewish role model. (She attends synagogue; reads Torah; is 
committted
        to a Jewish  lifestyle).
    *  She serves her Sisterhood, either  as a leader or as a dependable 
volunteer.
        (Her involvement in  Sisterhood can be center stage or behind the 
scenes, but she
        is alwas reliable).
    *  She is accomplished in  something, and shares her expertise with 
others.
        (This can be in either the  domestic or business/professional 
spheres.)
    *  She is constructive and  supportive.  (She is positive, complimentary, 
willing
        to praise others).
 
This award is a rare honor.  I encourage each Sisterhood member to  submit 
their nominee for this award to me by September 1, 2006, names will  not be 
accepted after this date! All submissions will be  confidential.
