[Retros] Haaner Chess

Dear Retro Community,

Fairy chess rules are often poorly documented. My current questions are
related to "Haaner Chess", see problem P0007610 in the PDB. 

The stipulation reads "What was the position 65 single moves ago? (Haaner
Chess)" 

>From the fairy chess lexicon provided by "Die Schwalbe": Ab der
Diagrammstellung hinterlässt jeder Stein, der ein Feld (ziehend, schlagend
oder als Schlagopfer (wenn der Schlagstein nicht das Schlagfeld betritt,
z.B. beim e. p.-Schlag) oder auch als Turm bei der Rochade) verlässt, auf
seinem alten Standfeld ein Loch, das im weiteren Verlauf weder betreten noch
überschritten werden kann.

The interesting wording is "from the diagram position" ("ab der
Diagrammstellung"). This refers clearly only to forward play. But what about
backward play? Is P0007610 already full of holes? Is the "diagram position"
the position 65 singe moves ago? What about proof games, is the "diagram
position" the initial position?

Can a knight jump over a hole?

What about capturing promotions? Does the promotee stand on hole after a
capture? Or are capturing promotions illegal?
