[Retros] Add pieces

Hello Alain,

Seems you've excluded what is, for me, by far, the most interesting problems
of the "add" genre:
Illegal Clusters!
In my general experience, no other formal stipulation has proven to be half
as rewarding (retro or otherwise).
Similarly, Legal Clusters deserve consideration.

Further, it would be a shame not to include the identical categories for
fairy retros.
I'll never understand how retro enthusiasts, who must be acutely aware of
the historical bias against the retro genre (still present in the FIDE
Albums), often (routinely?) discount fairy retros.

As for your categorization, I'm not entirely clear on some technical points:
In "type A", for example, is check determined before- or after- units are
added?

Also, I fail to see how your divisions form an intelligent catalog.
Why not sub-divide based upon goals?

e.g.,

A) Orthodox
B) Fairy

A1) Add to achieve legality / illegality
A2) Add units to allow/prevent direct-play (e.g., #n x-solutions / s#n / r#n
/ prevent =n, etc)
A3) Add units to allow/prevent help-play (e.g., h#n / hs#n / PGn, etc)
A4) Add units to infer something about the previous moves in the game
(e.g., prove OO occurred, prove Bc8 was promoted, etc)
A5) etc
...

B1) Add to achieve legality / illegality
B1A) Clusters
B2) Add units to allow/prevent direct-play (#n / ser.#n / ser.PGn, etc)
B3) Add units to allow/prevent help-play (h#n / prevent hs#n / h-00-n /
ser.h-ep-n, etc)
B4) Add units to infer something about the previous moves in the game
(e.g., prove OO did not occurr, prove Bc8 was reborn, etc)
B5) etc
...

If you need to, you can always sub-divide these categories (as illustrated
by the "Cluster" category) -- though, I'm not certain why you care to
distinguish between problems in which a royal unit is/isn't under attack.

At any rate, I hope this helps, and wish you great success with this
endeavor...

Best,
Kevin
