Here's a modification of yours still on 16 which deskills the workforce down
to the minimum officerial level of white rooks + light-squared bishops.
Would still be nice to lose a Black pawn or two.

It also corrects the cook in my previous one: Rd2 dxe1=B.

Using a bishop as retracting piece for black is a great idea. I believe
that, together with my design, I can replace a rook by a bishop.
