Four retro articles in this issue, I'll give the originals:

Article 1: Günther Weeth: Neues zum Thema "Magisches Feld unter der
Bedingung Anticirce" (news to the theme 'Magic square using the
condition Anticirce')

This article is about what happens on a magic square in combination with
anticirce, when a piece captures on the magic square. The author decides
to use two types of magic squares:
Type I: No recolouring of the piece that captures, it's reborn on its
normal square ('passthrough magic square')
Type II: The piece is recoloured and reborn according to its new colour.

Article 2: Andrei Kornilov, Andrei Frolkin: Formale Bewertung von
Retro-Elementen (oder: Kleine Hilfestellung für Retro-Preisrichter)
(formal evaluation of retro-elements (or: a little bit of help for
retro-judges)

Long article about the different values a judge should give to retro
elements. Perhaps Andrei Frolkin can give a better synopsis of the
article than I can. No new originals

Without Rd1: -1. f6-f7 and 1. a8=Q#. So how to get rid of the rook?

In Mars-Circe, if two pawns of opposite colour are 'past each other' on
the same file, at least one of the two must be on the second (black) or
seventh (white) row, otherwise the pawns couldn't have gotten past each
other (sequence is: wP->7th row, black captures on the 6th row, or black
pawn to second row, white captures on third)
