[Retros] 50 moves rule

What would retroanalysts do if some organization purporting to have the 
authority to do so promulgated a rule that required that the player on the move be 
stipulated in all chess problems? 

Would we stop composing orthodox retros with the stipulation "Whose move?"  
Would the journals stop publishing them?  

Once in a while the marketplace performs its function admirably.  Somehow we 
have managed to entertain each other for years without a uniform code.
