[R129 SL] Sudden Engine miss on my 1996 SL500 - M119 engine

I'd wager a coil has dropped out. Not uncommon. All gas engines have spark
plugs.

I would bring the car in for diagnosis, they should be able to tell you
which cylinder isn't firing and test the coil accordingly.
