ted byfield is the "moderator" of the nettime mailing list
he has a long history of acting like an asshole and generally imposing his own views in the mailing list, by adding snippets to posts with his own "comments" and also blocking anything he dislikes or just does not understand
he was also the one who reported integer to her provider and got her site (+others) blocked for a few days

he has been an advocate of US armed intervention in kosovo going to the extent of justifying "violence " on the syndicate mailing list. it is therefore very funny to see him herald your peaceful (but virtual) move.
