[nbos] [FWE][FM8]Geology in the Fractal World

I haven't been able to try out anything other than the Easel versions of
V5 & V6 (the cheapest!) but I have produced some very acceptable renders
of parts of the Kinragon world I mapped for Fantasy author Victoria
Kerrigan. And I'm only a starter on Vue. The Campaign Cartographer maps
are on my website and, if you're interested, I'll send you bitmap files
of the renders offlist. All I've done so far is to experiment with
terrains - I haven't touched buildings, interiors or people. I hope you
find the Learning Edition useful - I reckon you'll have a lot of fun
(and some frustration!)

I also got Bryce 6 for nothing by keeping tabs on the Daz website - they
do stupendous offers from time to time - and I've done some stuff in
that which I found rewarding, so it might be worth your while checking
the Daz site out from time to time. Try this link
http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/software/bryce/-/? And follow any interesting
options.

I believe there's also a free version of Poser (the 3D human figure
rendering software) available somewhere - possibly E-On or via
Renderosity although I can't quite recall how I got mine.

I'll contact Joe Slayton and give him your business e-mail address.

Cheers,

Mike

I'll grab the free edition but the earliest practical for even the
cheapest of the others is going to probably be October... depending on
when my college money comes through and how much text books cost me
this go around. Though thanks for the link! If Mr. Slayton is
interested and would prefer to keep it business level, the account I'm
using as my business account is heather at wolfwood.us.

Question on Vue, which version do you recommend getting for fantasy
world imaging/creation?
