This year the Midway Drive was selected as the featured Minetto site a
special Cancellation has been authorized by the USPO..with Hand
Cancellings taking place on August 8th at the celebration....These are
very collectible for Stamp Collectors..would make a great gift (FREE) if
know Collectors...bring an envelope.

 OSWEGO COUNTY UNITED WAY'S 6th Annual STUFF A BUS CAMPAIGN IS IN PROGRESS
July 15-August 15.  It is an effort to collect enough school supplies so
that no child will have to go back to school without adequate school
supplies.  It all begin at the Midway Drive In Theatre 6 years as the
only collection spot in the County.  There are now several dispersed
about the county.  We will accept donations in the concession through
August 15th or you may come to the Theatre yourself August 15th and help
to fill up the big yellow school bus.

We will behaving our Annual OPEN CAPTIONED  Triple Feature on September
26-27-28 in recognition of DEAF & HARD OF HEARING WEEK .  All (3) Movies
presented in OPEN CAPTION as well as regular sound track

It's time to start thinking about our annual DUSK TO DAWN SHOW on Labor
Day WEEKEND....4-5 Movies and some "shorts" this year. Again we will allow
overnight camping on the perimeter of the grounds.  Make your plans to be

                       ** ADVISORY**
Following all the torrential rains we had last week, parts of our lot are
still wet lot..parking in rear roads will be very limited...expect strict
parking rules to be in effect (see web page)..as a good portion of the lot
was water saturated and is roped off..we don't want to churn it into mud

Week days are less crowed than Fridays & Saturdays, plenty of parking
and much shorter lines and intermissions ...a more relaxed atmosphere...


Showtimes are approximate they may very depending upon cloud cover and
the size of crowd and resulting lines for the rest rooms and concession
