Hi Folks...I sure hope the weather forecast for this weekend proves to be as wrong as the one for last week end and those showers find another destination....and we sure could use some warmth....I'm still thawing out. I hope you noticed the absence of those pesky mosquitoes. Humm that's exactly how I began last week's newsletter.

As you no doubt read in my late Bulletin last week we have put together a huge show for this weekend...(2) new movies. Booking contracts require we play these features for a minimum of 2 weeks. If the weather is decent I suspect this weekend will be a "madhouse" with a sellout or close to it. We will be running two ticket booths to assist in keeping the line up of cars off the highway. Also, if we have the wet week that is forecasted the back rows could turn to a muddy mush and severely restrict our parking. We do suggest you come early for best parking. The second weekend may be as busy, as it will be a Holiday Weekend and I expect we will be adding a 3rd feature.

Our parking rules will be in effect and enforced for this engagement.

Taller vehicles ( large pick up trucks, SUV's. MiniVans) ..will not be allowed to park in front of a previously parked smaller automobile....the first row is an exception to this rule as they can be seen over)

Hatchbacks, if left open, MUST be tied down parallel with the roof line..twine is available in the projection booth.

Oversized vehicles...( Conversion vans, campers, larger trucks, cars with appendages on their roof, etc)...must park either in the back of the field or at the very ends of the rows or in the grass area next to the road, so as not to block sight lines behind them.

Many people suggest we simply make all vehicles except cars park in rear rows and reserve the front rows for just cars. I don't feel this is fair....as half or more of our family movie patrons arrive in the Mini Vans. Suv's etc. We instead try to operate under the rule "first to arrive first choice". If you think you have a better fairer solution we are very willing to listen to your suggestion.

We ask your cooperation in this matter and also ask that you do NOT become involved in a confrontation. If you are driving a "larger vehicle" please use some common sense, when you pull in.. take note as to whether there is a vehicle parked behind you, if there is.. inquire if you are blocking their view...if yes then please find another spot. If you are the victim, and offender does not move please report problem to the projection booth and we will resolve..NO agruements please.

The gates will open at 7:00 PM or earlier, if cars begin to overflow onto the highway. Please plan to arrive early and have supper with us...to insure a good parking spot. Last week end the first cars in line arrived at 5:15, inorder to preserve their favorite parking spot...I trust you would agree it would be unfair if we allowed a large suv to pull in 2-3 hours later and block their view.
