[W126 Coupe] Shocks and engine problem

I have a Euro 84 500 SEC and I am going to put lowering springs on and would like suggestions on shocks. Would like a little less roll and a little stiffer shock. Also, I'm driving along around 50-60 MPH and the motor just quits. I pull over and restart it and everything is fine, This has happened twice. No missing or sputtering, it just quits. Thanks, Mel
