My 560SEL overheats going up the hill to Mount Charleston (2,000 MSL to
8,500 MSL). It's fine at 80mph on the freeway with 106F OAT but the mountain
just overheats it. I put in a new water pump and thermostat, plus the
radiator was replaced in January. My best guess is the EZL is not providing
proper timing - the vacuum advance on mine isn't advancing. If you still
have the EZL from that car, I'd like borrow, maybe buy it. I have an EZL
from the FrankenBenz somewhere "in a box in the garage" but can't find the
accursed thing.
