Calvin,
The short answer is, just like anything else, it's worth what someone is
willing to pay for it. Your car is significantly rarer than the average SEC
but may appeal to a lesser, though more enthusiastic, group of prospective
buyers. I am attempting to establish a value database by gathering asking
prices from any number of sources using the VIN # to assure the values are
discreet. I am trying to avoid the influence of condition or special
features since these tend to be highly subjective and unverifiable. You
would have a much harder job since the universe of genuine 560 SEC AMGs is
very small and there is the question of whether they are real or not. Best I
can offer is to search the internet and other sources for any classifieds on
AMG models. I would discount any AMG for which you can't obtain a VIN #
because you would need that to verify that it is a true AMG model. All
things being equal, I would expect your AMG to carry a premium over a
comparable SEC but how much of a premium is hard to say. Maybe someone else
can weigh in with some better info. In the meantime, I'll publish the
results of my database on 1991s from time to time which tou can use as a
relative basis of comparison.
