Hi Folks
Thanks Dick for for advise it was much appreciated,I will check the
module, what threw me was a the Mityvac had developed a fault and would not
hold vacuum it turned out to be some silicone lube which had solidified plus
a fine hair under the valve.I have now got both seats to lock using the
Mityvac at the bulkhead.Next time I take the car out I will check both seats
for locking.

Hi Folks
After my last post, where I was trying to get my passenger seat to lock(after
it was used to stop a falling person!!)I reconnect the lines under the seat
and tested with a Mityvac, and got the seat to lock at the seat location and
also at the bulkhead @22hg,but another fault is preventing it from
locking, the dark red & yellow striped line on the bulkhead will not hold
any vacuum at all,I have looked at the CD manual but cannot find any
reference to the function of this line.Any advise gratefully received.

Hi Dan,
Probably the electric vacuum module behind drivers side knee bolster. ?
Does other seat lock as it should? If no check fuse then door pin switch.
If yes, check the module bolted to steering column. When working it gets
warm.
