Hi Dan,
In the same way you tested the acc door pods, you can also test the
headlamp pods and lamp elevation function. I use a spare vac line to
allow for standing/crouching in front of lens while pulling a vacuum on the
element inside the headlamp assembly. You should be able to see the lamp
assembly move by looking through the glass lens with lights off. This will
affirm the elevation elements will work once you restore the broken line.
Go easy on the amount of vacuum you apply to avoid damaging the rubber
seals inside.
Stripped from list but to your email is the attached set-up guide for the
euro lamps. I will search old files for the acc vac guide for the door
pods later today.
