[W126 Coupe] Re Vacuum Issues

Ernie, The headlamp height adjustment was not available on North American, Department of Transportation (DOT) approved, headlamps. On Euro (rest of the world, really) the headlamps could be slightly adjusted to account for heavy loads in the trunk or when pulling a trailer. The SLS rear suspension on all W126 560's (available throughout the range as an option) takes away the need for this adjustment function, but it's nice to have nonetheless. However, the height adjustment is not a substitute for properly adjusted headlamps as the movement is limited to up and down, and only very minor adjustments can be made.
