[W126 Coupe] 560 Summer tires

I had General Exclaim UXPs on my '91 560 SEC and was very pleased with the price, performance and wear. I was running 17" 3 piece AMGs, but they are probably available in 16" as well. I now have a set on my '90 300CE also with 17"s. 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear. The grip on dry is great and the rain performance is just as good. I routinely run 80-90 mph in the rain on I-75 and I-4 with no problems. So far, I've put over 10k on them and they still have plenty of tread look almost new). Got them from Tire Rack, and paid for the four, just a little more than one Michelin Pilot costs.

For everyday, everyweather use I remain impressed by the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity line. The are NOTHING like the OEM Turanzas being mounted on new cars. Head and shoulders above. Click the "surveys" link at TireRack.com and inspect the survey results for All Season Grand Touring.
