[W126 Coupe] Right-Front Passenger Window not working

About a year ago my driver's side window switch got stuck and left the window in the half way down position.

I took the rocker switch out and took it apart... Easy to do. Careful when spreading the plastic switch rocker from it's two pivots and don't lose the ball bearing under the rocker. Cleaned everything and used fine grit sandpaper on the contact areas and used electrical contact lube on friction areas including the ball bearing pivot. Switch now works perfectly and rocks smoothly. Proceeded to do the same with all the switches. Like new and didn't spend a dime, just a couple of fun hours of my time. Try that with a new "disposable" car... Gotta' love the old Benz.

Give it a shot... It might work for you too.

Hi,

My passenger window stopped working the other day.  Now "nothing", good
thing is it stopped working in the closed position.  What is the best way to
troubleshoot this?? Fuse, switch, regulator?? I do not know the order to
check, and do not want to dig into the door if I don't have too.  Thanks,
