[W126 Coupe] Right-Front Passenger Window not working

Bob:
Does the rear right window work? If it does, the fuse is OK. (Left front and right rear are on the same fuse).
You say the window stopped working while in the up position. Have you tried putting it further up? Listen very carefully and perhaps even feel the glass to detect that indeed the motor is trying to move the glass up more even though it is at the top, while there is no response, noise or otherwise, when trying to put the window down. (Try this once just momentarily; don't keep trying to get the window further up!) If so, the switch on the down side of the rocker switch is likely not making contact. (This, BTW, is likely the most common fault when windows stop. Remove the switch, take it apart and clean it out taking care not to lose the BB sized ball inside. )
If you can't tell, listen for ANY noise whatsoever from the motor when activating the switch up or down. If the regulator is jammed you still should hear the contact in the motor trying to work, such as a faint click.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Right-Front Passenger Window not working

Hi, My passenger window stopped working the other day. Now “nothing”, good thing is it stopped working in the closed position. What is the best way to troubleshoot this?? Fuse, switch, regulator?? I do not know the order to check, and do not want to dig into the door if I don’t have too. Thanks, Bob88’ 560 SEC
