[W126 Coupe] Electrical connections

Hi Guys,

thanks for all your help on my electircal problems.  I have a few more 
questions.  I have replaced the instrument cluster and I have a few 
conncections that are mysterious.
1. Behind the insturment cluster is a switch in the upper left hand 
quadrant.  Does anyone know what this switch does?  It seems to have no 
effect that I can see.
2.  There is a light bulb that is just hanging down behind the instrument 
cluster.  There is no room on the cluster for it to go on so it is a 
mystery.
3. There is a white connection just behind the light switch that has come 
loose from something.  I think it might be a conncection for the hydraulic 
suspension system which is located just next to the light switch.  I will 
have to remove the light switch and the switch for the hydraulic system to 
check this out.
