I have more info than before. found a wire on the wrong contact in the drivers light, but that did not seem to solve the problem.

Alternator and battery tested good . I tested the voltages at each light.
Something is dramatically wrong at the passenger light (right hand light?).

Voltages are:

left hand right hand

white/black 12.50 white 0.23
yellow/black 0.53 yellow 5.50
brown 0.23 brown 5.55
green/grey did not test these are for fog lights and could not reach the contact

I switched lights and the right hand light is OK. Works perfect. The problem is somewhere else in the wiring or at the light switch. The question, what happened to make so dramatic a change.

voltages at the fuse seem to be correct. They are:

F2 high beam right 14.01
F4 high beam left 14.02
F6 low beam right 0.53
F8 low beam left 0.56

Other key differences are:
1. fog lights are wired into the high beam switch and do not appear to have a separate switch.
2. ground wirs are going back toward the fus box/firewall, and are not tied to ground at c142 as shown on diagram.

This diagram is helpful, but a disgrtam of the euiro switch would be useful.
